Alan Taylor

Alan loves using the medium of pastels or colour pencils to capture the diverse colours and character of animal wildlife and finds inspiration for his subjects from countryside walks both home and abroad.

He is a member of the Guild Society Artists (GSA) and gained the AGSA professional qualification with the "wonderful artwork" submitted to the GSA fine art committee. On gaining the AGSA he was invited to interview for the Art and Framing magazine.

His art has been exhibited in the Association of Animal Artists 2019 Winter exhibition and 2021 Autumn Exhibition at the Station, Richmond and he has also held a solo exhibition at Stockton Central Library

Alan recently won a special merit award at the international Light Space Time Primary Colour Exhibition for his colour pencil drawing 'Flight of the Kingfisher' and was also awarded 6th place for 'Bubo Bubo' the Eurasian Eagle Owl pastel painting in the "Paint and other Media" category of the Light Time Space 10th International Anniversary Art Exhibition.

He prints and packages his work himself and these are sold as mounted giclee prints, framed artworks, greeting cards, bookmarks and on mugs and coasters and slate plaques too.
