Janet Fraser
Janet Fraser’s interest in glass started as a hobby eight years
ago, she enjoyed experimenting and making gifts for friends and family. Over time
she’s honed her skills and developed her own style in design.
She is passionate about her work and loves bringing old
traditional windows back to life, as well as working with clients to create
modern bespoke windows. Alongside this, Janet makes smaller glass designs and
works with the copper foil technique which makes her able to make more detailed
pieces.
Inspired by her surroundings, Janet lives in the idyllic
village of Sleights with her three children and works from her newly built studio
at the bottom of her garden, a peaceful spot with babbling brook and leafy
surrounds, the studio also doubles as a teaching space for Janet where you can
book a workshop and learn the art of stained glass making for yourself
